Final WEEK Reflection

Time just went by this year, all the things we did since the beginning of the year is just ... I am not even sure if I'm going to continue blogging after leaving Mr. Lee's class. This project has been successful in  my eyes, the things we did and the knowledge that we inputted will forever be stored. To be honest it was hard to work with a group, many people have different opinions and sometimes we all can't agree on it. Maybe it's just me but I actually did learn new things, I mean who new there is so much more detail in a little flower. And I can actually get along with the people. It was a good experience for me to be blogging and posting stuff, it gave me the confidence to talk to other people and to interact with them through technology. Hopefully people do learn from our photos and see the message that we try to put out. So I guess this is it, maybe I will blog, sometime about something different. #RIP to my 20 percent project..
Our presentation went well, though there were little mistakes as we spoke. It was fun making this presentation it taught me to communication in a different level. The things we put on the slides were short yet gave enough information for the topic. I would've change some of the things that had happened, like spoke a little clearer. Also we should've put the right amount of time to practice and memorize the script that we made. Overall, we did great on the project and in my opinion we had success.

Week 11

This weeks topics was RANDOM little things that interested and related to my personality. We decided to make it random so that our followers on our media account can connect with the things we are interested. We want them to know the "weirdness" that is within, I guess. Hopefully our followers like the fact that we posted random stuff and get the meaning of the picture. We also do put quotes on our pictures and write an interesting fact about them. We honestly feel good when we get at least 15 or even more likes in our photos. We would like our followers to share our photos so that we can get the word spread out from our work. For our project presentation, we have been working on the power point and also we will probably start practicing later next week. Our deadline is the 23 of May. Hopefully we finish everything a week before presentations so that all we have to do is practice and practice. That is our progress so far, but we will still like to have suggestions from our viewers, to see what a good and epic idea for our presentation ( the Pictures and stuff). Week 10

This week the topic was nature. Since last weekend I was in the woods exploring with my family my team and I decided that I should just take pictures of anything I find. There were a lot of things that i could take a picture of they turned out pretty great. One of the pictures that I love was the one with an ant. It was a big red ant and it seemed like it wanted to get a picture. I actually kept the ant but my dad decided to throw it away. My little sister and I decided to name it Peepa. It was very random name but it worked because it was cute and interesting. It did not seem like a regular ant that we see by the house because it was red at the top and black by the bottom. I felt bad at first because I just took it from its home and then she got thrown away. But I know she would have loved to explore. Not only did I take pictures of insect I also took pictures of tiny flowers that were spread around the ground by the cabin. My weekend was just amazing full of adventure and no technology for once. I got to spend time with my family and just enjoy the little things that were around me.

Week 9

This week I am actually in charge of the instagram account. Since, the website is still in progress I decided to take over the account because of the fact that I will be out of town for the weekend. I still don't know what to expect at the place I am going to go to but I will try to get a bunch of pictures. Hopefully the pictures will turn out good or bad. Not only will I take pictures but videos also, thought the quality wont be that great I will accomplish having a good quality so that it looks good. The videos I will be taking will go to the vine account we have created. The account will be posted on the instagram account next week. My goal this weekend is to take a picture of an insect or anything that I think is interesting. I would want to take a picture
 of something like the picture below,

Week 8

I would like to start of by saying their is still no progress with the website. As of right now it is still being put together. This is because I have been trying something totally different to give the page a unique look. I want it to scream the personalities of my group and I. Only because we are total opposites, we like to do different things and those things can be weird all the time. I have been checking on our instagram account, so far it looks pretty good and the vine account I still don't have a hold of it. It is very difficult to get a hold of my partner because I am the one who is always busy. Other than that everything is still going smoothly for the final presentation. Honestly everything is going well just a little bit late on the deadlines. Hopefully by next week things are done and we all can take a breather.

Week 7

Things are still setting in the website is still on progress, its not that easy to complete a website. Took time to find the right layout and background because of the fact that I personally don't like the way it looked before. My team and I, especially me, are busy, so I have not got the chance to talk to them lately about the topic. IT will come soon, just need to find the right time and I kind of want, no I want, to make it big and mysterious. Just to make things more fun! I mean why not, its always good to try something new. Our instagram account is going pretty well and so is our vine. SO follow, follow, FOLLOW! We really do love getting support from others and its very cool. As of right now we have something big for our final project, I know it will turn out great! Hopefully others will think so too, stay tune for that "something big". Take a guess of what it is going to be!

Week 6

This week me and my group members have not been updating instagram and the website. We have decide to split the work out evenly. We decided that I will be in charge of the website and Gino will be in charge with the instagram account and Patrick will be in charge of the vine account. We did this so that everyone will know what they are doing rather than asking or just sitting down doing nothing. It is easier this way since we are all very busy around this semester. This helps us worry about one thing than worrying about the websites. We will still be doing weekly topics or even monthly ones, that is yet to come. Overall, this project has been going through smoothly, we are still preparing for the final presentation. Stay tune on how we will do on that!!! This was us the whole week !

Week 4

This weeks topic is buttons! Buttons are very useful in clothing, it is an essiantial in fashion. Buttonholes were not invented until the 13th century. Did you know that there were different names for buttons? Buttons were involve in mainly men's fashion, they used them for their coats and collars of their shirts. Buttons are actually made from natural products, but they required more work than plastic buttons. They are made in a long process to get the wanted shape, size, design, and color. Week 3

Topic this week is sweet and satisfying. Yup the topic is chocolate! We don't only get it for free on Halloween but it is in probably every store. Chocolates have a certain taste that makes people addicted to them. The word "chocolate" came from Mexico and Central America. Chocolate commonly comes in dark, milk and white. Dark chocolate somewhat has a sweet and bitter taste to them. Milk chocolate is usually sweet and popular ones are Hershey's chocolate. White chocolate in my opinion is the sweetest out of the three. Chocolate comes in different ways, they can be eaten or drank. In Europe, it was fashionable to drink chocolate. Though chocolate comes form a plant, its not necessarily good for the body. Chocolates have a lot of calories, fat, and especially sugar. They are filled with sugar and sodium. It maybe bad but it is very hard to resist. Week 2

This week's topic is SPIDER WEBS! Nasty, creepy, yet fascinating to see. It is the creepiest thing that is ever out there. That is why I left the lens to one of my partners, I'm sure they will be much braver than me. Its pretty crazy how the pictures turned out to be it seemed so unreal. All the little things that appear that us humans are afraid to see up close. Did you know, spider webs are created to catch a prey such as flies and other insects. They use this device to catch their food and for their home. Spider webs are a bit creepy but they are so cool to look at. Also spider webs are pretty stable, when hosed down with water it will not come out. My father tried so many times and still does not work. Week 1

This weeks topics is money !! Yes, it may be a bit random, but it is very interesting. I mean we never see the real appearance of our money. NOT only coins but paper money, close up they have so much color pigment in them. Obviously my partners and I are running out of ideas but we are still working on it. It is not that easy to think of a good topic. Next weeks topic may be a bit creepy though, well at least for me. That is why I passed on the lens to Gino. I just can't handle that kind of topic. Any takers of what it will be? Well keep following us on instagram, we sincerely appreciate our audience. Maybe we might do a tutorial on how to take a good picture on a camera and even upgrade to a professional lens. We just need to keep focus and determine and get people's attention. Picture : by Gino

Week 8

This week we did not have a topic because research needed to be done. Not that my team is not familiar with the things we are doing, but to learn a little bit more about the lens and the techniques that are needed was necessary to have a good photo. The research I have done was about how to take photos with the macro lens professionally with a phone camera. I wanted to see if there was different ways to take the picture and the different angles I can take the object with. It was not a hard thing to learn but it took time to actually get the right position and angle. The hardest part was to find the right source to learn from. I learned that you should be at least 4 inches away from the object, so that the camera will focus the right way and will not have any glitches. Another thing is that should focus on the little details of the object so when the picture is taken it will be more "catching to the eye." The weirder it looks the better the picture looks.

Week 7

This weeks topic (drum roll), is COINS! Yes it is a bit random but.. seems fun to see the little details we see on a coin. There are thousands of coins around the world and they all have different details on every single one. Coins here have different dates and different pictures and we seem to ignore them because it's money. We don't care if it's different we.care because it's worth something. I give props to those coin collectors because later on in the future we probably wouldn't need coins and then money will be worth more. These coin collectors will be wealthy. Now a days we can simply customize a coin into something different whether it's a funny picture or a quote. I saw a picture and it says "when u need to make a decision flip a coin, why?, because in that brief moment the coin is in the air, you know what your hoping for." Isn't that true! I never knew that coins will be used for that. Maybe there is still value in coins, not everyone will want paper money. Well , if you want to keep updated follow this blog and our instagram! We will soon make a twitter and try out if it will be fun and helpful. So we can get more audience. 

Week 6

This weeks topic, is plants! I know it is not that exciting but you will be surprised. Plants are so beautiful and the most beautiful is the ones that are awkwardly and as people may call it "ugly". No matter the size or color of a plant they all have a specific beauty to them. People don't really notice the real beauty of plants. Just them growing and making things look so interesting makes a persons day better. Plants are not only beautiful but they help us. How? Plants give us oxygen and gives life to us humans. Just imagine the world without any plants, wouldn't it look boring and plain. Plants also give us medicine, in the old days people will use plants as remedies for the sick. This shows that it can help our body with its nutrients and vitamins it has. Plants or certain flowers can be made as dye to use for clothes and other things. Week 5

Hello people of this earth! Sorry for this late blog, unfortunately i was sick on wednesday. Boo hoo! But this weeks topic is flowers! Flowers are just naturally beautiful and that's what is so interesting about it. The interesting thing about flowers is that they can mean so many things to people and that's why we picked it as a topic. Many people can relate to a certain flower whether it was given to you from a certain person or you just like its natural beauty. Gerard de Nerval says "every flower is a soul blossoming in nature." And I think that quote is just so inspirational, why?, because it is very true everyone blossoms and changes and thats good. Some need change a good change, for the new version or a grown up woman. Flowers are flowers it can grow anywhere and it will make that thing beautiful! No matter what the place is it will turn into something different, something unique. Well, there's a little story or should I say deep thoughts on how I feel about flowers!comment below on what you guys think about flowers. Or what it means to you. Week 4

This weeks topic is diamonds. Diamonds they say are a girls bestfriend. Now this doesn't include all those girls but most girls . Diamonds are every where you can find it on someone's ring, earring, and just on any jewelry. It is known that diamonds are the hardest natural substance on Earth. Isn't that interesting you never see those kinds of things and they are not for free. The pic of a diamond is very detailed and it just looks good on anything. Diamonds I guess can be a girls bestfriend, it makes us girls feel more confident in how we appear in this world. You rarely find girls that don't like diamonds, I mean come on they are hard to resist. Any of you guys wondering how me and my team are doing, we are doing well. We are actually getting the hang of things, which is good for the project. Sometimes we feel lazy but hey that's for every person. Please follow this blog and our account of you are new to my blog. Week 3

This week the topic is water! If you guys are new to this blog, me and my team has been taking pictures and creating an instagram account to show the world the skills we have using our electronics. This project is for our english class. If u guys want to see our progress stick to this blog or follow the account on instagram (_macroworld). Now on to the topic, my team is trying different subjects that can challenge out photography skills. I know me and my team barely started on this project but this really helps us. Also there is nothing wrong with having a little challenge in the things we love to do. The theme also let's us know more information that we did not even know. It is fun to learn more about this topics and how the photo really shows the good things about that object. It shows te details that we have not seen before and really can't see. Water is really hard to take a picture with because it can ruin our lens and phone, but we still got to do it. Though my team has many things going on during school and sports we still got time to do want we like. All it takes for this project to be successfful is dedication an having the passion for what we do. So the more challenging topics we come up with the better our project will be. Week 2

This week our team I finally getting use to the schedule that we assigned to one another. The photos that we have been taking are really good we have been focusing on our topic which was eyes last week. We decided for this week to be insects, so it will be much easier for everyone to adjust to what we are suppose to be doing. It was a good idea to put a topic on each week because this keeps the product organized. Our product will be launched on June 4 so make sure you guys stay tuned! On this blog and the links for my teams' blog will be listed below. Be sure to see their progress too! To those that are trying to create a project, my suggestions are keep a good schedule. It makes everything easier. The next few weeks we will focus on other things that are in this interesting world of ours. Week 1

We started our project last Wednesday, making some changes on how the world will view our work. My team decided that using the social media " Instagram " will give us the views and audience we are reaching out too. The social media is the best choice to show the world our project because it is open to anyone. That day we also figured that the team should do weekly topics. The topics will have its own quote or saying and a picture to give the audience a visual. This really helps get the attention of people because it may help give advice about a certain part of their life. We also have insects and plants photos so if anyone is interested please do follow us on instagram @_macroworld.
